Black Women In Tech
visual design / ui+ux / art direction

A campaign by Google’s Women Techmakers highlighting stories of Black Women in tech

This multimedia campaign was designed to inspire, brings awareness, and acknowledge the implicit and explicit barriers Black women face in the tech industry; and the long term implications of these challenges.

I partnered with Basic Agency on initial design concepts and then took over halfway through the process, finalizing all visual design while leading art direction for illustration, photography and video thumbnails, which extended into Google's social feeds, as well.

We hope the campaign is an inspiration to the next generation of Black women considering a career in tech, and that Black women in the industry see themselves in these stories.
